I've been extremely busy this year. My children's activities are so packed that on some days especially Friday's I'm hopping in and out of my car about 9 to 10 times . Yup.... That doesn't leave me much time to blog unfortunately.
In all that, I managed to organise a surprise party for Mazhar who turned 16 on the 7th February. He has wonderful friends who has wonderful parents and we managed to organise having it in Janda Baik. I think we kept the party well under wraps until the day itself as he was surprised.
The party originally was for only 10 pax and only his closest friends but in turned out to be roughly 20 sixteen year olds plus parents and family and that came up to roughly 50 pax. It was fun nonetheless. I had the opportunity to get know the parents better and the kids had a blast. They organised a paint war and they even made t shirts for everyone. We had more food that we can imagine and it was what i hoped what every 16 year old would wish for.
These are boys whom I've known since they were 7 or 8 years old . They've grown up so much and they're so respectful and kind and not to mention how matured they are in character and looks. All of them are way taller than me.... (then again I'm on 4'11" so everyone is pretty much taller than me.)
After their PT3 some have been accepted into boarding schools and some have changed school. So in some ways this was a farewell/birthday party for them as it was for me. I wish them well and hope they achieve whatever they wish for as they most certainly deserve it.
Being a mum I was worried about the food!!! Cukup the tak cukup. Alhamdullillah we had lots of them with not much extra. We had lots of hungry kids!!
Ok.... The thing with me is that whenever i know I have somewhere to go i will immediately paint mental picture of what I should wear. Believe me , I hardly go anywhere but I like to look nice and presentable. It serves my self esteem!!
So, i wore Just Mars crepe blouse with the square cut. I loved it!! (i'm being biased of course!!) Crepe is wonderful, it gives that lovely flow and its not hot and it doesn't stick on me like some other materials do. Believe me , i was running around like a mad woman that day. I got the air circulation i needed. Personally i prefer the square cut to the kaftan cut because it suits my lifestyle and I'm more at ease with it.
Anyhow, this is my blog since a while. Really should make more time for it!!
